No — a corset size is its closed waist, so you order 3–5" under your natural waist for fashion/posture (4–7" for training). Use the What's my size link next to the size picker above, and size up if you're between sizes.
Will it hurt or stop me breathing?
No. A correctly-sized corset is firm and supportive, never sharply painful. Break it in with the seasoning schedule and loosen if you ever feel pinching or breathlessness.
Can I wear it under my clothes?
Yes — the smooth brocade and flat steel busk sit cleanly under fitted clothing, or wear it as a statement piece on top.
